Princess Mononoke was refreshing because it had a more mature audience. My favorites have to be Spirited Away and Mononoke 'cause they're the most original. Howl's and Laputa had been done before. Totoro and Nausicaa were great though.

Though it was obscenely long, I found myself periodically watching it for a few minutes, getting bored, and doing something else. Eventually I finished it, and in retrospect probably should never have began something so pointless. But I must say, voice acting was key in keeping interest, and your video shone through in that aspect. I'm not sure I understand why you try and avoid 'random humor' because it doesn't have to be particularly vulgar to be random. And in my opinion, somewhat nonsensical humor is still good enough to entertain people who think they are 'above' watching/appreciating it.

Also, unless it was a joke, Despot does come from dems the root as in home, but -pot as a suffix comes from posis/pater as a spouse/human/master, not from posins as in jester. Master is only inferred due to ritual use.
