contrary to the common belief that you need to have background info on the series '(The) Watchmen' to understand the movie, you dont. they provide all necessary info to get the gist of the plot, which was uber thorough and more than satisfying, and on top of that each character was a badass motherfucker who does what he/she wants. Dr. Manhattan is some omnipotent mofo who wanders the city streets turning vietnamese ppl into gorey rubble and teleports to mars whenever he wants. i expected the movie to be decent and was literally raped up the ass with amazement when it was over. if you liked the dark knight then ull desecrate it in a grotesque fashion once you see watchmen because it pales in comparison. hope you enjoy the movie
